A. School Executive Micro-Political Leadership: The school executive develops systems and relationships to leverage staff expertise and influence the school’s identity, culture and performance.
I have been responsible for buses from time to time throughout the year including arranging for transportation for our field trips. The picture below shows where we had to think on our feet to keep buses moving during dismissal when one bus broke down. We had to redirect the buses to drive around on the grass.

This school year I have used my leadership skills to promote teacher efficacy and leadership within our EC department. I have worked with the department chair to establish guidelines and processes to increase the compliance and overall function of the department. EC Compliance was measured and documented using data from the number of students out of compliance throughout the year and can be seen on the graph below.

This email is an example of how I communicated with other schools to ensure transportation for our field trips throughout the year. This is a key process in ensuring students have exposure to various activities and experiences that tie into the curriculum.
